Hello everybody! My name is Eli and this is my blog that I will use for my Introduction to Educational Technology course at FSU. I am a third year student majoring in History and minoring in Museum Studies. I am planning to going to graduate school after I graduate from FSU in order to become a professor in Ethnomusicology, which is the study of the social and cultural importance of music around the world. Personally I have a particular interest in Latin America and the Caribbean music and its evolution throughout history. My prior experience with using tech in an educational setting was first having computer lab in elementary school. I remember the whole point of the class was to get us to type faster through programs but us kids were more excited to play games after we completed our tasks for the day.
